When you register for Contact Ground, we collect information that identifies you, including name, email, profile details, organization membership, role information, authentication credentials (email/password or passkeys), and social login information for Google, Apple, or Microsoft sign-in.
To provide our services we collect flight bookings, calendar reservations, resource usage data, pilot endorsements and certifications, flight operation records, maintenance logs, and weather station preferences.
We automatically collect device information, IP address, general location, session data, authentication tokens, and usage data such as pages visited and time spent.
We use your information to provide and maintain Contact Ground, manage accounts, authenticate access, process bookings, facilitate internal communication, track maintenance, display weather information, send notifications, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.
Within your organization: profile information, bookings, and resource usage are visible according to organization settings and role permissions.
Third-party services: authentication providers (Google, Apple, Microsoft), weather data sources, email providers, and hosting services may process limited data to power the platform.
Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.
We encrypt data in transit with HTTPS/TLS, enforce secure authentication, limit data access to authorized personnel, and run regular security assessments. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we continually improve protections.
